Nordhaven Mosaic takes its inspiration from architecture rather than ornament. A central diamond, fine intersecting lines and washed indigo detailing create a design that feels ordered, calm and distinctly contemporary.

Drawing on Nordic design clarity and the rhythm of old mosaic surfaces, Nordhaven brings structure to a room without making the floor feel heavy.

Available in 2 ft × 3 ft and 2 ft × 5 ft, it works beautifully beneath a reading chair, beside a bed or under a console. The viscose-polyester front gives the blue-grey pattern a refined finish, while the gel anti-skid backing adds practicality. It is machine washable for easy care.

For anyone looking for a blue geometric rug, modern designer rug or contemporary area rug, Nordhaven brings quiet order through line and proportion.

Nordhavn begins with the idea of a drawing becoming a textile.

Lines expand into diamonds. Borders intersect. Fine markings build upon one another until the rug feels almost like an architectural plan rendered in faded indigo.

The result is precise from afar and richly nuanced when viewed closely.

The design takes its cues from Nordic architectural clarity, layered with the graphic language of traditional folk weaves and historic mosaic surfaces.

Rather than recreating any one heritage motif, Nordhavn abstracts these references into line, repetition and proportion—giving the rug an internationally influenced character that feels entirely at home in modern interiors.

Nordhavn depends on accuracy without rigidity.

Every line, diamond and border must remain visually balanced as the composition builds outward from the center. Subtle tonal variation softens the geometry, while careful finishing preserves the clarity of the intricate pattern.

Its sophistication lies in the precision of the whole rather than the prominence of any one detail.

Pair its indigo geometry with ivory upholstery, dusty blue, soft grey, walnut, pale oak, travertine and understated metallic accents.
The rug can hold a room on its own, yet its quiet palette also allows stronger cushions, artwork and objects to sit comfortably around it.
Place it beneath a reading chair, beside a bed or at the centre of a softly furnished room. It will not compete with the space—it will make the whole setting feel more resolved.

What NYSA Customers are Saying

★★★★★ 4.8/5

I ordered two cushion covers and was genuinely impressed by how premium the fabric feels in person. The colours are subtle and very easy to style. They’ve completely changed the look of my sofa without making it feel overdone.

Aditi Sharma Delhi

★★★★★ 4.7/5

The rug looks even better in person. I was slightly unsure about ordering home décor online because colours can look so different on screen, but this one was very close to the pictures. It feels soft underfoot and doesn’t move around much either.

Rhea Mehta Mumbai

★★★★☆ 4.2/5

Bought a throw mainly for the design, but the texture ended up being my favourite part. It’s soft without feeling too heavy. Delivery could have been a little quicker, but the product itself was worth the wait.

Neha Kapoor Pune

★★★★☆ 4.5/5

What I liked most is that the pieces don’t look mass-produced. There’s a quiet, collected feel to them. I paired the cushion covers with things I already had at home and they blended in beautifully.

I ordered one cushion cover first because I wanted to check the quality before buying more. Ended up coming back for three more. The finish, zip and fabric all feel very well done.

The throw is lovely and the pattern is quite understated, which is exactly what I wanted. I use it mostly on the end of the bed. A little lighter than expected, but aesthetically it’s beautiful.
