Lumière is designed around light rather than ornament. Its softly lustrous surface shifts subtly as daylight and evening light move across it, bringing depth and atmosphere to a sofa, bedroom or accent chair.

Where patterned cushions create interest through motif, Lumière works through texture, tone and softness, making it an ideal partner for medallion, botanical and geometric designs.

The 16 x 16 inch cover combines a viscose-polyester front with a cotton back and is machine washable, balancing an elevated appearance with practical care.

Use it to soften structured furniture, add richness to a neutral room or introduce contrast alongside more expressive NYSA patterns.

A sophisticated tactile layer for interiors where the smallest shift in texture can change the entire mood.

*Filler not included.

The tonal palette sits naturally with cream, beige, charcoal, burgundy and warm wood furniture set-up.
Its velvet like finish adds contrast beside linen, boucle, woven rugs and softly patterned cushions.
Layered with NYSA’s medallion or botanical textiles, it introduces a smoother, more luminous surface to the arrangement.

Fabric Front: Viscose/Polyester
Fabric Back: Cotton
Color: Rosewood, muted cocoa, taupe and silvered beige
Closure: Smooth zipper

There is a particular moment in the evening when a room begins to feel different.
Curtains soften the remaining daylight. Lamps are switched on. Velvet catches the glow, and familiar corners become more intimate.

Lumière was created for that transformation — the cushion that gives a room warmth by day and a deeper, atmospheric character after sunset.

Lumière reflects the understated glamour of Parisian salons and contemporary European hotel interiors, where velvet look is used for softness, color and depth.

Its abstract linear texture replaces formal ornament. The design remains minimal, while the shifting surface gives it movement and visual interest from every angle.

Lumière’s character comes from its softly textured surface.

Subtle variations in the pile allow deeper tones and luminous highlights to appear as the fabric catches light. Careful construction and finishing preserve this natural movement, giving the cushion a tactile richness.

A drawing room glowing under warm evening lamps.
A bedroom layered in ivory, walnut and brushed brass.
An accent chair that needs softness rather than another bold motif.
A contemporary home where glamour is expressed quietly.

What NYSA Customers are Saying

★★★★★ 4.8/5

I ordered two cushion covers and was genuinely impressed by how premium the fabric feels in person. The colours are subtle and very easy to style. They’ve completely changed the look of my sofa without making it feel overdone.

Aditi Sharma Delhi

★★★★★ 4.7/5

The rug looks even better in person. I was slightly unsure about ordering home décor online because colours can look so different on screen, but this one was very close to the pictures. It feels soft underfoot and doesn’t move around much either.

Rhea Mehta Mumbai

★★★★☆ 4.2/5

Bought a throw mainly for the design, but the texture ended up being my favourite part. It’s soft without feeling too heavy. Delivery could have been a little quicker, but the product itself was worth the wait.

Neha Kapoor Pune

★★★★☆ 4.5/5

What I liked most is that the pieces don’t look mass-produced. There’s a quiet, collected feel to them. I paired the cushion covers with things I already had at home and they blended in beautifully.

Meher Arora Chandigarh

★★★★★ 4.9/5

I ordered one cushion cover first because I wanted to check the quality before buying more. Ended up coming back for three more. The finish, zip and fabric all feel very well done.

The rug has made our bedroom feel much warmer and more finished. It’s one of those purchases you don’t realise will make such a difference until you place it in the room. Really happy with it.

Simran Puri Ludhiana

The throw is lovely and the pattern is quite understated, which is exactly what I wanted. I use it mostly on the end of the bed. A little lighter than expected, but aesthetically it’s beautiful.
